BANTUL - As many as 90 UPN "Veteran" Yogyakarta students (UPNVY) held an Expo exhibiting the results of a Community Service (KKN) in Panjangrejo Village Hall, Pundong District, Bantul. The exhibition titled "Srawung Panjangrejo" featured the products of the creativity of 10 groups during the 1 month KKN in Panjangrejo Village. Dozens of people and village officials as well as invited guests were seen walking around looking at various processed food products, cultivating plants, and creative arts on Sunday (11/17/2019).

The idea of ??making student creative products emerged after some time of living and socializing with the village community. Some products appeared after seeing problems and unrest in the community. The examples of products from the Community Service Program in Jamprit hamlet were Nata de Coco - Jamprit.Co, Ja2suke (Jamprit Corn Milk Cheese), etc. The idea of ??making processed nata de coco arose after finding public complaints about the overproduction of coconut water but could only be sold cheaply. By processing it into Nata de Coco, it can increase the selling value and increase citizens' income.

Another creative product was Fashion EcoPrint from the Community Service Program in Gedangan hamlet. Unique patterned leaves can be used as motifs for fashion products such as clothes, totebags, drawstring bags, etc.

"This kind of expo is good because it shows the work of students for one month living here. Hopefully, this 70th  KKN will benefit the community.
